Demonstrating our Unflinching Resolve
More than 57 people attended yesterday’s picketing event in front of Dr. Ariyo's office. What seemed like a never-ending sea of Igbos marched through the sidewalk of his building.
The President of the ICAN DFW and the chairman of the picketing committee were amazed at the outstanding turnout, especially given the short notice of the event and considering that yesterday’s demonstration was announced last Friday. To the Igbos who took the time to sacrifice a day off, or stay late, and especially to those who commuted long distances just to attend, we extend a heartfelt “thank you” from Igbo Community Association of Nigeria DFW and the executives.
Our message to Dr. Ariyo: Your actions have infuriated and galvanized the Igbos to a level of solidarity never seen before.
Take a look below to see what happens when Igbos stand shoulder-to-shoulder demonstrating our unflinching resolve.
That was all for yesterday. Please remember our picketing continues today. See you at 9:30am!!!
